This recognition was part of the province's celebration of World Tourism Day, acknowledging the association's significant contributions to the local tourism and hospitality industry. The "Pammadayaw" event honors individuals and organizations who have played a key role in promoting Ilocos Sur as a premier tourist destination and supporting various tourism-related efforts and activities in the province.
The said training was organized by our Ilocos Sur Hospitality And Related Establishment Professionals Association(ISHAREPA) in collaboration with the Department of Tourism Region 1 and the UNP-College Of Hospitality and Tourism Management, is proud to announce the successful participation of the staff and management of Hidden Garden Lilong and Lilang Restaurant and its subsidiaries headed by Ms. Grace Lourdes Flores Arrojo in the 10th leg of the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence Training.
The 9th leg of the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence was held on August 10 and 23, 2024, at the stunning Selah Vie Resort Hotel. The Ilocos Sur Hospitality And Related Establishment Professionals Association was proud to partner with the Department of Tourism Region 1 and the UNP College of Hospitality and Tourism Management to bring this enriching experience to our community.
Held at Hotel Lapira on August 6, 2024, in collaboration with the ISHAREPA, the UNP-College Of Hospitality and Tourism Management, and conducted by the Department of Tourism Region 1. It was an enriching experience for the staff and management of Hotel Lapira, Metro Vigan Inn Main, Hotel Salcedo de Vigan, and Metro Vigan Fiesta Garden Hotel. Together, we're raising the bar for Filipino hospitality.
The successful 8th leg (1 of 2) of the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence Training! Organized by The Ilocos Sur Hospitality And Related Establishment Professionals Association with the UNP-College Of Hospitality and Tourism Management, and conducted by the Department of Tourism Region 1, the event was held at @Metro Vigan Fiesta Garden Hotel last August 5, 2024. We were thrilled to have the dedicated staff and management from Hotel Lapira, Metro Vigan Inn, Hotel Salcedo de Vigan, and Metro Vigan Fiesta Garden Hotel join us in our commitment to elevating service standards.
The Ilocos Sur Hospitality And Related Establishment Professionals Association, has proudly donated cleaning materials to kickstart this year's Brigada Eskwela at Nagsangalan National High School on July 23, 2024! It's wonderful to contribute to a cleaner and more welcoming environment for the students as they begin the new school year. Together, we can make a significant difference in our community.
The 7th leg of the Filipino Brand of Service Training was held at Grandpa's Inn on July 23 and 24, 2024 joined by staff and management of Grandpa's Inn, Cafe Uno, and, Kusina Felicitas. This incredible event was a collaborative effort between the Ilocos Sur Hospitality And Related Establishment Professionals Association, the Department of Tourism Region 1, and the UNP College Of Hospitality and Tourism Management. Participants gained valuable insights and skills to elevate the quality of service, reinforcing our commitment to excellence. Thank you to everyone involved for making this event a huge success.
The 6th leg of the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence training brought together by Ilocos Sur Hospitality And Related Establishment Professionals Association, the Department of Tourism Region 1, and the UNP-College Of Hospitality and Tourism Management was a resounding success! Held at the beautiful Hotel Van Gogh in Candon City last July 15 and 16, 2024, this event was an incredible opportunity for participants to enhance their skills and embrace the essence of Filipino hospitality.
As we reached the 5th leg of the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence Training last July 8 and 9, 2024 at Vitalis Villas, Vitalis White Sands, Oceanus we have significantly etched our effort in providing this exceptional event to our Industry Professionals. Where we come together to enhance our commitment to service excellence through this training with the collaboration effort by the Department of Tourism Region 1, UNP-College Of Hospitality and Tourism Management and our esteemed association marks a pivotal moment in our journey towards delivering exceptional service in the tourism industry.
The Filipino Brand of Service Excellence training is in its 4th leg! The Management and Staff of La Casa Blanca De Vigan Hotel and RLVS Group of Companies have experienced first-hand its world-class training conducted by the Department of Tourism Region 1 with the collaboration of the Ilocos Sur Hospitality And Related Establishment Professionals Association and UNP-College Of Hospitality and Tourism Management last June 28 and 29, 2024.
The Ilocos Sur Hospitality And Related Establishment Professionals Association in collaboration with the Department of Tourism Region 1 and UNP-College Of Hospitality and Tourism Management conducted another set of Filipino Brand of Service Excellence Training for the staff and management of Santiago Cove Hotel and its affiliate business establishments last June 25 and 26, 2024.
The Ilocos Sur Hospitality And Related Establishment Professionals Association in collaboration with UNP-College Of Hospitality and Tourism Management and the Department of Tourism Region 1 has summed up one of the several Filipino Brand of Service Excellence Training programs. This initiative will accelerate the achievement of its potential in our industry and hone the skills of our industry professionals. The first on the list was Hotel Luna last June 22 and 23, 2024, their staff learned the value of Filipino Hospitality and its integral contribution to Philippine Tourism. The training had our participants learn key points to enhance guest experience and touch the hearts of our visitors and guests alike.
The Ilocos Sur Hospitality And Related Establishment Professionals Association received its Certificate of Recognition representing the Provincial Industry TVET Board for Tourism. This is a testament that our beloved Association is carving a new development that will ensure our industry professionals will benefit and elevate it's knowledge and expertise in their field. Last June 7, 2024, the Ilocos Sur Hospitality And Related Establishment Professionals Association with the initiative led by UNP-College Of Hospitality and Tourism Management wanted to thank the University of Northern Philippines headed by UNP President Dr. Erwin Cardona, for giving ISHAREPA the chance and opportunity to have a reliable vessel through the signing of Memorandum of Agreement between both parties that will bolster our industry practitioner's capabilities and skill sets.
Last May 31, 2024, the Ilocos Sur Hospitality And Related Establishment Professionals Association and its affiliate members participated in its first "Filipino Brand of Service Excellence" Training with the collaboration effort of our Department of Tourism Region 1 & UNP-College Of Hospitality and Tourism Management that was held at UNP Hostel Function Hall.
The Ilocos Sur Hospitality And Related Establishment Professionals Association is committed to bringing quality training to all of our affiliate members. With this, we are proud to announce our first TESDA Skills training for NCII Cookery. Our trainees had their orientation last April 11, 2024, held at Data Center College of the Philippines of Vigan City, Ilocos Sur, Inc.
Our very own President was allowed to share his knowledge and expertise as one of the guest speakers with our future Hoteliers in the Industry last April 6, 2024, at Leon Events Place Vigan City titled "Gateway to your Dream Career - Hospitality and Tourism Seminar conducted by The Dream Events Planning & Coordination Management.
MOA Signing was inked last February 28, 2024, between the Ilocos Sur Hospitality And Related Establishment Professionals Association (ISHAREPA) and TESDA represented by Provincial Director, Larry Dizon, witnessed by our friends in the media. ISHAREPA is relatively new, having been just founded and SEC registered in December of 2022. But young as it may, it is firm in its resolve to be an active agent in advancing the hospitality and tourism industry.
It was indeed a night of celebration and a good start for the year 2024 as the Ilocos Sur Hospitality And Related Establishment Professionals Association received it's certificate of appreciation awarded by the Vigan City PH on the recently concluded NGO & Partners Night at Vigan Convention Center last January 27, 2024.
The locos Sur Hospitality And Related Establishment Professionals Association was invited by The Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur on January 26, 2024, at 9 am at the Provincial Livelihood Center for a consultative meeting concerning the privileges of our Senior Citizens for Hotel, Restaurants, and other Establishments.
The Ilocos Sur Hospitality And Related Establishment Professionals Association in collaboration with Sanitary Care Products Of Asia, Inc. conducted its first "Food Safety Training" presented by Ecolab Philippines at Ricardo’s on October 24, 2023. The said event was a great learning experience for all our affiliate establishments and individual members. With this knowledge and tools presented, we are now capable of serving our guests food that is safe and sumptuous.
Last October 10, 2023, we assimilated the new learnings and knowledge shared by our major sponsors Sanitary Care Products Of Asia Inc. and Ecolab Philippines Inc., it was indeed a momentous occasion for ISHAREPA!
